Nachmittag im Wald

Went on another outing this afternoon with my host father Andreas and his other exchange student Arthur (who's going back home to Strasbourg tomorrow). We spent a few hours in the Schlachtensee/Krumme Lanke area in the Berliner Grünewald in the southern part of town. We went to a beer garden on the Schlachtensee for a late lunch and then took a tour of the area. Pretty gorgeous and full of rich people; the houses and cars alone are worth going down to see. Arthur and I peeked over the fence around Brangelina's place while Andreas waited in the car for a quick escape if it became necessary. We also walked around the Krumme Lanke, which is a great trail for just walking and enjoying nature. By "nature" I mean, among other things, many animals in their natural state. This includes humans, there being a nude beach. Tiny bit awkward but whatever. Enjoy photos!

Here we are at the beer garden; lunch of beer n' bratwurst for the win.

Around Krumme Lanke. A basset hound decided to make friends with Arthur and me.

Bis später!
